Get To Know Me

I believe that reality is subjective and the way we perceive the world around us is unique depending on our senses. From my perspective, real and unreal are simply opposite ends of a complex and diverse spectrum. I am placing myself into this complex spectrum as an observer who likes to indicate ‘unseen worlds’ and ‘hidden realities’, where my inspiration takes place and form. I don’t believe in prototypes, everything around us already exists in some way yet it can be redesigned and take a new form and meaning. I imagine design as a bridge. A link between the spiritual and the material, real and unreal, individual and the universal. As a designer, I want to be part of recreation and reformation in order to discover new ways of understanding the world. As Robert L. Peters once wrote “Design creates culture, Culture shapes values, Values determine future”. I want to be part of an equal and sustainable future where there’s no fear but only love for creation.

Escape

What if you could escape from all the Thursdays of the year? Without fear of repercussions, be able to be whoever and whatever you desire. Imagine waking up on a Thursday morning without having to put on your drab suit to go to work. Why must everything in our life be under a certain control? Every Thursday, my escape plan starts with an instruction package that walks you through 10 easy steps to build your character. You can obtain a deeper knowledge of the people around you by escaping your own identity and immersing yourself in another’s.

Time To Be

What is time? How it works? What the perception of time is? How we feel time? In his theory of relativity, Einstein stated that as well as the three dimensions (height, width, and depth), there is a fourth one: time. And time is relative. In other words, our frame of reference determines the rate at which time passes. However, what was my frame of reference? The time which flows through the dreams, memories and the infinite and connects past, present and the future. With the aim to illustrate the idea that time which passes through these notions is identical. As our memories determine and influence our future, our dreams are products from our past suppressed wishes and have an impact to our present and future, and the infinite time as an absolute substance that connects our past and future. Wouldn’t feel less terrified if we knew how to feel time? From our early lives to the day, we are full of experience and wisdom.

Our major goal as designers is to address the demands of the user, but we must first test our concepts (designs) before attempting to implement them in what we refer to as “the real world.” Experimenting with the development of a new universe in which the norms as we know them do not exist could be one method to do so.
